This Project's Default Folders

Default for the editor's Open and Save As dialogs  Enter the name of a folder that is to be the default folder for the editor's Open and Save As dialogs.  The dialogs will open in the default folder.  You may still freely move in the dialogs to other folders.  Enter the complete path of the folder, for example, c:\mywritings\mybook.  Click on the browse button to find and select a folder in a directory tree.  If this entry is left blank, the default is the folder where Book Writer is installed.  Each project's default folder is set here individually.

Start in the default folder every time  If this is not checked, the Open and Save As dialogs will start in the default folder the first time they appear; and afterward, they will start in the last folder you were in.  Check mark this to start in the default folder every time.

Use settings for Project Manager's Add function  Check mark this box to use the above settings for the Add function in the Project Manager in addition to the editor's Open and Save As dialogs.  If this is not checked, the Open dialog for the Add function starts in the folder of the file that is highlighted in the project's tree diagram. 


Default for project files (.BWP)  The default folder for Book Writer Project files is shown here for your information.  It is the same for all projects.  To set this default folder, see Options - General in Main Menu | Tools | Set Options.
